WWTP - Wastewater Treatment Plant

A wastewater treatment plant is a set of individual processes designed to convert raw wastewater into an effluent that meets regulatory requirements.

Through the individual processes of pre-treatment (retention of coarse solids), primary treatment (removal of suspended solids by gravity separation), secondary treatment (biological oxidation of organic matter and secondary settling) and tertiary treatment (disinfection and nutrient removal), we obtain an effluent that can be reused or discharged into the environment.
